Delete your account from within the app
The fastest way to delete your My Family Album account is directly in the app:
- Open My Family Album on your iPhone or iPad.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
This permanently removes your account and all associated media from our servers.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email instead:
- Enter the email address associated with your My Family Album account in the form below.
- Click "Request Account Deletion" to open a pre-filled email to our support team.
- Our team will process your request and confirm deletion via email within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All child profiles you created
- All uploaded photos and videos (stored in encrypted form) and their encryption keys
- Stories, timelines, and album organisation data
- Family sharing invitations and access grants
Once your encryption keys are deleted, any encrypted media that remains in transit or backup storage becomes permanently unreadable.
What data may be retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for legal, regulatory, or safety reasons:
- Transaction and billing records — retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics — may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to your account.
